hey bloggie...been rather bored this few days without work...haha but i rather be bored than hear the unrefined voices of the stupid ppl...anyway, talking abt work, i realise that there's a lot of red tape involved when working in big organisations...ok fine it's not that this is the 1st time i know abt bureaucracy and all lar...came across it in Econs oso, haha still remember my Production and Cost notes, the part abt diseconomies of scale...woohoo miracle i still remember all this...but yea, when i enter the working arena, i get to see first hand what they mean by "bureaucracy"...it impedes efficiency and i cannot deny that, becos that happens, even though on the surface, everyone tries hard to mask all this. most of the time, we do things not becos we enjoy doing it, but becos we haf to do it. well of cos there are ppl who enjoy their jobs and all, but the ppl at the bottom may not even know the rationale behind the things that the ppl at the top decide on. when the chief or the head comes around, everyone seems to put on a front, being so courteous and all... then when these top ppl encourage us to join in their celebrations for a supposedly new beginning, nobody from the lower ranks join in...sum even make a joke out of the whole thing...quite sad...i mean if i work in a small company and understand my boss more than i do when i work in a large organisation which is renowned and recognised, it's quite a pity...cos besides earning money to run ur daily lives, u r also actually interacting with ppl while u are working. and for us, we sure get to interact with ppl...all from the lower ranks...sighz...hmm perhaps thats the nature of it and things cant change much. so i shant hope for much oso...
on to another topic...me and 4 of my 3302 gal frens went out yesterday....quite a fun-filled day...did window shopping for much of the afternn and of cos the main thing to do, to get ying ling's and eunice's ears pierced! yay they haf finally pierced their ears...and u know what...i suddenly thought of getting my ears pierced one more time too...haha...but not now lar...probably in a month or so...oh yea joan came up with a story...haha she made us read and comment on it...i wouldnt even haf the enthusiasm to write a letter nowadays so i take my hat off to you joan! i thought the title was quite suitable but haha the story, didnt really get it...as in it's so routine[i know its on purpose] that its not my type...hmm anyway, i bought 3 pairs of earrings at takashimaya...how cd i not buy when it was 3 for $10? argh...still 5 days more to my pay! pls let this 5 days pass faster...haha...k on to soccer...such a pity my eyes cdnt open in time to watch the semi-final match between deportivo and porto...must be cos i stayed up too late last nite...i slept at 2am thinking i'm a superwoman who can wake up just 40mins after sleeping...i woke up at 4plus and the match was already over...lol...hope later i can wake up to watch the chelsea vs monaco game...must tell myself to stop chatting by 12.30am...or i just dun sleep...haiz will c what happens...the funny thing abt me is that i can go without sleep at a chalet to chat or just watch tv or listen to ghost stories...but when i'm comfortably at home, the bed beckons and i always cant resist! k bloggie ciaoz...gg to watch news...
