Quotable quotes I see

"Losing one's own confidence causes a person to fall into confusion, which is hell...To maintain one's confidence, the most important thing is stamina."

finally got the energy to post in this blog....got back on sunday morning but too tired to do anything but sleep. slept for 12 whole hrs, the longest in many months. the bus journey must haf taken its toll on me...sigh...but it was quite cool to ride on a coach to malacca...when they stopped at this place called Macap, we found so many tidbits...like really a lot...but we bought like only 6 packs...they are all the kerepek kind, if u get what i mean. very nice, different from those we usually eat in singapore. got cuttlefish crackers, ubi plus chilli crackers, this thing called kuih layang-layang with chilli...simply delicious. anywayz, we didnt buy many things cos after all, we were there in malacca for a wedding. haha i love the gulai babat, again if u know what i mean, cos i dunno how to translate that into english. oh yea we ate at this rojak udang place near the Tampin bus terminal while waiting for our bus. it was nice, a different brand of rojak with its very own Sos Kueh Udang Alor Gajah. think that can be translated as Prawn Fritter Sauce made by the Alor Gajah ppl. the prawn fritters were crispy on the outside, while being soft in the inside. the bus ride was fun too, altho the coach which we took to Tampin from JB was a bit old and the aircon cannot make it. love the return ride tho...cause altho it was dark and i couldnt see anything except the cars which the bus had overtaken, we were greeted with twinkling stars wherever we were. really, the view was magnificent, and it cd haf been more magnificent if the windows of the bus were not tinted. haha this brings back the memories of Taman Negara. i rem while we were at Jerantut railway station, we cd see the whole myriad of stars in the night sky. think this is one of the advantages of not decorating ur whole country with city lights. lol...anywayz, we passed by A'Famosa water themepark without stopping...argh...cos it's not in the plan...my dad said maybe june hols we can go there. and stay at one of my grandaunts' house during the night rather than paying so much renting rooms at the hotels there. the house is built with cement and all...not the atap and wood kind...quite decent lar for a resthouse. k thats abt what i wanna say abt my short trip to malacca...

now on to what i promised before...the translation to the pontianak song. haha huiyu said it sounds romantic...k i'll try my best. but i tell u, it's so gg to be unromanticised...cos sum words sure cannot translate properly. so when i do direct translation, it'll sound funny instead of being romantic.

GIVE IT BACK TO ME[oh no, bad start]: Misha Omar & Ezad Exists

    However seductive a fragrant flower,
Just look at it but no admiring,
    Surely you won't believe
    that my love is not
    for you, my love....

Can't believe you are so heartless,
You take everything which you desire
[this is not directly translated, just trying to capture the meaning],
However you will not be happy with life,
when all sounds unite... [dun understand this part, even in malay. but i guess its the sound of the pontianak...]
    You're mine...

    Chorus
F: Give me back my love
M: Oh please stop haunting me
F: Give back oh give it back to me
M: I'll give you back your life
F: When your life is destroyed without my wanting it
M: Please let me go, forgive me, oh my love...

There is no room for forgiveness here
You take away my heartbeat from me
I will find you wherever you are
Until the end of time, my love...

    key: F-female, M-male

gosh...haha that seems funny to me...well, basically the pontianak in this movie was allegedly killed by her first lover...with the baby of the 2nd lover[whom she married in the end] in her womb. so she sets out to find her killer, by spreading her pontianak-ness to those in her village...and the story goes on.
