hello bloggie! was too tired to update my blog yesterday so perhaps i'll just make up for it by saying what happened yesterday...k me watched van helsing with my 3302 classmates at GV marina...the movie was alright overall but the movie really deviated a lot from the novel itself...firstly, since when frankenstein and his monster came into the pic? anyway tat one still ok...worse is since when van helsing is supposed to be as young as what hugh jackman looked like in the movie? and since when was he so advanced in that age? with all those funny futuristic-looking gadgets that cdnt haf been used in the era where gothic flourished...thus i was laffing at sum parts of the show...the friar not bad though...he makes a good side-kick...and dracula was not bad oso, just that the hairclip looked too girly for my liking...yea so thats abt it for the movie...
oh forgot to mention that yingling lent me sum books...a series of stories entitled "chronicles of narnia" and another book entitled "tuesdays with morrie"...i'm into the latter first cos haha the narnia books look like they'r like the lord of the rings trilogy...and i'm not so into that kinda stories...but anyway i'll read it...perhaps i'll develop a liking for that kinda stories...anyway thanks yingling, for lugging the whole thing for me...appreciate it girl...i'm 1/3 into "tuesdays with morrie"...quite interesting, but so sad the prof has to die...why all the good books got ppl dying inside? sigh...k maybe i haven read enuff books, but so far, books that touch me are those that deal with loss of loved ones and the like...k shd make a trip to the library one of these days...then got more things to read...and i wouldnt be so bored....
k on to badminton...me went for tj training just now...we were in a sauna bath man...searing heat...and all the hot air is trapped inside! oh just found out just now that the juniors are training every single day! woah thats like really power lor...the most i go was like 4 times a week, and that was in TK, not even in TJ...and the girls are confident they can even grab the title from RJC this yr...i sure hope they do and it's good that they r confident lar...guess we can just hope for the best...btw, its weird that they changed the venue to bukit gombak for semis and jurong east for finals...the toa payoh feeling will be gone...as in all these yrs, we always dream of being in toa payoh sports hall and stuff...then now the juniors haf to start dreaming abt jurong east instead...lol...dunno how the atmosphere will differ but i'm so used to toa payoh oredi then suddenly change to jurong east...the only gd thing abt that is my travelling time is shorter...oh yea talking abt TJ training, most of the juniors cut their hair...guys and girls...not sure of the occasion...perhaps to bring better luck than previous yrs??? its like both guys and girls...if they really win this yr, woah thats like breaking the curse of getting 2nd for almost 10 yrs lor! hope both sides do well, and i hope the gals thrash VJ like hell....muahahahaha...
