hey bloggie! quite happy with the new look of my blog...life's pretty much the same today as it was yesterday...no going out cos lack of cash...still 3 more days to go to my pay! Oh yea, what's different today was that i had to take care of my lil sis even though i was half asleep! all my mum's fault for not informing me that she'd be out to buy a sepak takraw ball for my younger bro, all the way at geylang serai!!! btw, yesterday was my youngest bro's 11th birthday, but owing to the lack of cash, i haven bought a present for him yet...wd probably do so when i get my pay...eh just remembered...if i'm not wrong, my junior Marcus shares the same bdae as my bro...cos last yr i rem the juniors had a small bdae celebration for him in the canteen, then i tot: "eh isnt today my bro's birthday oso?" haha yea confirmed 6th may is oso his bdae cos i just took a look at my badminton contact list...quite surprised i still have it on my comp...the hard copy i dunno where it has gone...anyway, talking abt younger siblings and all, it's hardest to look after a toddler! believe me frens cos they are just too hyperactive....
let me give u an account of what happened this morning when my mum was out...it was abt 10am when i first woke up...realised my mum wasnt around and that my sis was staring at me...but i felt that i haven got enuff sleep yet so i headed for the toilet and back to the bed...told her to just go to sleep again...of cos i went to sleep soundly but i'm not sure what she was doing while i was sleeping...i was so angry when i found out later what she had done without my supervision...i finally woke up fully at abt 12.40pm...my sis wanted milk...i asked my 16-yr-old bro to do cos at first my lil sis had approached him...he easily passed the job to me, giving the excuse that he doesnt know how to do it...ugh...then no choice, i had to go to the kitchen and boil sum water to mix with the milk formula...it was a comical scene cos the i was actually still in dreamland...luckily nv spill anything...that wasnt all ok...after drinking milk, she wanted to go and pee so i had to escort her to the toilet...then after a while, the much awaited call came...my mum finally called home...saying she's on her way back...but more work was to be done! she asked me to make cereal for my lil sis, cos it was lunchtime and there wasnt any proper food yet...sigh but before that of cos i had to tidy my bed and all...so off i went to my bedroom, and the careless me left my toothbrush and toothpaste at the wash basin...of cos, any experienced mother would know that a naughty lil girl would experiment with those...cos when i was heading back to the kitchen after tidying the bed, my sis suddenly came running to me saying: "kakak! pedas...pedas!!!"...btw, pedas literally means spicy but in this context, it would mean "minty"...yea she was happily brushing her teeth with the adult toothpaste and she probably ate sum of it...argh i had to clean the mess and wash her mouth thoroughly...then still need to make cereal, which she dint finish eating...she was actually doing "teh-tarik" stunts with two bowls...one empty bowl and the other bowl full of cereal...happily pouring the contents into the empty bowl...had to clean up the mess again...woah that wasnt all ok!
i had wanted sit down and watch news or sth, when i saw 2 bananas at different spots in the house, peeled but not eaten....then i realise she had done all this when i was asleep between 10 to 12.30...gdness such a waste...anyway, to summarise, looking after a small kid isnt easy at all...so pls, for those who plan to have children in the near future, have to be prepared for all these also...sigh, probably haf to rethink abt having 3 kids...perhaps 2 enuff liao...
anyway, i'm listening to the radio now...been out of touch with the radio for so long...just heard over the radio that beckham has got the task of being the DJ on the team bus when they travel to the stadium for the Euro 2004 tournament...haha and his fav CD is Justin Timberlake's "Justified"...haha and the perfect10 DJ said he knew why...he said cos they both got the same voice...haha yes cant deny both of them got very kiddy voices...k dun wanna tok abt kids oredi...just so tired looking after them!
