hey bloggie! today was a fruitful day, or rather a "food"-ful day...hehe cos me like ate so much for high tea just now...yes ppl me treated myself to high tea in the afternn...and enjoyed the company of angel and trina...hmm...i ate like equivalent to 3 meals man! k maybe not quite, but i just know i was damn full after the whole buffet ended...even when i reached home, the full feeling was still there...the high tea was not bad, considering it's a change from seoul garden...haha...altho the variety wasnt that big, it was reasonable for a high tea buffet...me had salmon...it tasted so much better than 3 yrs ago when i was treated by my badminton-trs-in-charge at the very same place[Royal Plaza on Scotts] for winning the championship title in 2001...back then, dunno why it tasted like almost bitter to me...just now it tasted not bad...anywayz, i cant use the ice-dispenser for NUTS! i was trying to make ice kachang...thinking that the ice will slowly come out, i switched on the machine for quite a long while...dint expect the whole heap of ice to come out so fast...so mine became an ice mountain! haha...besides that, i oso ate loads of prawns! haha it was quite fun eating prawns...anyway, out of all the food i ate, think me like the coffee tartlet best...after having high tea, we just walked around...sumhow we reached taka...and we decided to go kino...dunno why but i'm suddenly indulging myself in books...bought 2 books on the same day...first book is "Autobiography of a One-Yr-Old"...it looks interesting...cos the story is told from a one-yr-old's perspective...and the cover looks cute...of cos dint buy it just for the cover lar...will read it soon after finishing my current book, which is non-fiction, so shdnt be taking long....haha i'm currently reading "Scottish Myths and Customs", borrowed from the library...interesting to read...discovered that the "paring the apple" tradition originated from Scotland, not Asia...haha i thought it was an Asian custom, but now i know...yea quite a lot of interesting customary practices that the Scottish came up with...hmm another book that i bought today was "Man and Boy", courtesy of Ian Yeo's introduction sumtime ago...i like to read books abt life...issues that concern every other person in this world...so, even though it's fiction, i can sense it happening sumwhere in the corner of this world...so, to sum it up, i'll be reading the autobiography first, then i'll decide...cos i still got 3 library books unread...1. "A Bowl Of Cherries", 2. "The Beginning of Spring", and 3. "Unexplained WW2 stories"...haha the third book would be interesting to read i guess...a look into things they'f nv discussed abt the war...all those secrets...anyway its late, or rather it's EARLY...its now 1.47am on my comp clock...so i better sign off and sleep...like NOW...
