Quotable quotes I see

"Losing one's own confidence causes a person to fall into confusion, which is hell...To maintain one's confidence, the most important thing is stamina."

hey there bloggie! haven been blogging cos i was away for the NUS arts camp...it was complete fun....k 3 words to sum it up: fun, tiring, scary...guess fun and tiring is kinda easy to guess why....but scary...haha thats supposed to represent the Fright Night....well, it wasnt as scary as i thought it would be, but guess other stations were a bit scarier...mine was just walking along sum unknown corridor which had a forest on its left...and had to find the supposed clues for the method of murder that we had to solve...anyway, i dint scream or anything...maybe i'm not the screamy type...but robocop was kinda disappointed there wasnt any big reactions i think...he was like: "not scary meh?"...haha i just said the first part was a bit shocking [when i turned the candle to haf a better look at the clue cos of the poor lighting, a shocking voice interrupted the silence by saying "go away!"]...other than that i had no big reactions...maybe the prayer before i walked on the trail helped, so i thank god i dint see anything funny...anyway, heard that sum of the other stations were more scary so i'm grateful i went to the easier one...i checked out sum of my councillors' blogs...woah kudos to them for having the energy to describe the camp in quite great detail...i wouldnt haf the energy, and even tho its one day after the camp, i guess ppl must come and meet me personally so that i can relate the camp to them....cos its almost impossible to tell the whole story on blogger cos i'll probably take the whole day typing...just a couple of things to say abt the camp:

*was kinda surprised my SP[secret pal] was that nice to give me OREOs...haha, especially when sum of the guys couldnt even be bothered to write anything to their SPs...woah my SP is totally crappy, but behind all the crap, i guess he has his own views abt things...yea, abit different from me who kinda goes with the flow, well, most of the time at least...yea thats abt it for the SP thingy.

*i'm so grateful my councillors are such nice ppl, not to mention the fellow freshies too! haha i was quite surprised we won best OG for Allitt, but it's definitely a pleasant surprise...best day was second day...went to sentosa for a day of games and had the fright night, which is of cos at night...the sentosa games kinda got us more into the mood, as opposed to the first day, in which we had to go ard campus doing weird things like trying to get clues to solve the bigger murder...

*i developed funny red bumps, sth like a rash but the bumps are bigger ...all over my arms...dunno why, but i was a bit shocked when i saw it during dinnertime...put sum calamine lotion, but it was still there for the whole nite....only kinda went off on the fourth day...

*sth that i'm wondering abt...why do the Arts fac ppl love hokkien cheers? well mandarin was oredi difficult enuff, and they had to come up with so many hokkien cheers....luckily the Jay Chou cheer for my OG Cruor was short and sweet...at least its a more familiar language to me than hokkien...well yea thats abt all i've got to comment abt the cheering part.

*haha surprised i'm not having sore throat or any kind of bad side effects of the camp...maybe i wasnt using 100% of my strength...or maybe i had been to tougher camps, or more accurately Taman Negara, in which we had to trek so much into the jungles of Pahang and went up very high hills that i think the Arts Camp wasnt that bad...oh yea Taman Negara was definitely worse when u haf a person like Ian Yeo in ur group...haha he shd know why....keep complaining and complaining...at least i dun haf a complain king in my OG for arts camp...in fact all the frens i'f made in arts camp are fun and interesting ppl...nice and caring too...not to mention we boast one of the largest OGs in the camp...so many councillors and so many freshies...when we play, the councillors will root for us with their voices, so thanks for all that...definitely treasure the times spent together as an OG...and hope to get into the same OG again when we freshies get to be councillors for the O week...

k thats really it for tonite...getting shoulder ache from typing too much and spending too much time on the comp...should get off now...so till then...
