bloggie bloggie bloggie...i'm pretty tired at this point in time, so perhaps i'll try and make this short. i'm back from the sentosa mini-holiday...sorta a getaway from mainland singapore...what i'm gg to say is the attractions in sentosa need a serious facelift soon...ok yea alot of new stuff are under construction and whatever, but really lor they need to "upgrade" the existing attractions too...cinemania was a major disappointment. well when i think of it again, i'll think of the money wasted on the 15min simulation ride...its like so...lousy? i think sci centre simulation ride better, n its much cheaper oso lor...sigh...thought it wd at least be a 30min ride and better shows lor...we went for 2, first being dinoland and 2nd roller coaster ride...when the dinoland show finished, i was like, how come so fast? and the roller coaster ride is LOUSY ok...cos it just shows us flying thru the sky and high mountains, occasionally reminding us that we r on a roller coaster by showing the roller coaster track...and there was no thrill, at least not as much as i had expected...so, until they do sth to "upgrade", u wun find me in cimemania ever again. After cinemania, we headed for Fort Siloso...well predictable lar...sumsort of a history lesson...we walk thru tunnels, "we" being angel and me most of the time cos the trina n huiyu dun wan...after fort siloso came dinner...we had to wait for the beach train[which looks more like a open van than a train] and get to palawan beach, where the only source of food was[the others were already closed by the time we wanted to buy dinner]...the only source of food is 7-eleven...haha sad case...but its ok, we bought lotsa chips, dinner, cup noodles, nachos and drinks...pls understand that we dint eat those all at one go. it was supposed to last thru the nite since we were gg to play cards and monopoly...yea, so u know what, the more fun part came only when were back in our huts...we played all sorts of games with the deck of poker cards, played uno and oso monopoly...bridge was fun...i think i'm sorta addicted to it now...k anyway monopoly was a bit screwed, cos trina and angel formed a duopoly, claiming that it was a gd "business strategy"...they had almost all the properties and whatever else lar...oh yea after monopoly, we played "truth and truth"...interesting...at first, we were arrowing one another, but after a while, we ended up talking abt dream houses and the no of children we wanna haf in future...lol..we also discuss the pains of giving birth, not that we know wat it feels like yet lar, just thinking how it wd be like...like "natural birth vs caesarian, which one is better?"....i dunno how long we talked but the 4 of us concussed ard 5plus...quite a feat for trina cos she always cannot make it when we stay over at chalets...k then we woke up at abt 9plus...showered, then played more card games...play until abt 11plus then we went to buy lunch at delifrance...bought back the food, ate in the hut and played more bridge...suddenly hooked to bridge...dunno y...we checked out at abt 4.15 i guess n headed home...thats abt it cos i've got to sleep now, later[its already 3.12am on 21st July] in the day meeting trina and angel at TM to shop for stuff...yea and ppl, u can see from my account of my mini-holiday that most of the time was spent playing bridge more than anything else...my new fav game...hehe...
