I FEEL LIKE A READING MACHINE...
yes i do feel like i'm sum machine which is reading non-stop, then suddenly it goes bonkers...its irritating...the whole pile of readings scares me...and the fact that i'm doing stuff which were done over a period of 2 yrs in JC but now it's like taught over the period of just one semester...scares me too...like hello...i studied History 1: Modern European History over the course of almost 2 yrs lor, and now we'r doing it like over 10 to 12 weeks only...like what the hell...but i'm glad i'm not a first-timer at this euro hist shit...cos if i were to be a complete beginner to THE FRENCH REVOLUTION and THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION, my brain will just screw up all the facts gathered over a span of 10 weeks or so...anyway, i kinda pity the ppl who haf not heard of the french rev b4 we actually took the EU1101E module...cos there was one instance...after one of the lects, this particular girl[she's from my OG Kesolo in O Week] was like asking the lecturer:
So what exactly is the French Revolution about? And the lecturer said it's quite difficult to answer a qn as broad as that...he just asked her to read the textbk and to try and grasp sum of the concepts before coming to him again with further qns...sigh...that shows that we really need to do a lot of reading...i spent hours reading abt industrial rev and i'm like only halfway thru french rev...argh...n i still got 2 storybooks to read for EU1101E...one abt the napoleonic era and one abt the holocaust...what nonsense, all to be done within this semester...so i better send myself to bed now so i can wake up relatively early to get back to reading the materials...its my free day tmr, but i know there's nothing like a free day when u are in uni...so what the heck, gg to sleep now...
