Quotable quotes I see

"Losing one's own confidence causes a person to fall into confusion, which is hell...To maintain one's confidence, the most important thing is stamina."

    2 MORE TO GO...

hey bloggie...just thought i can kill time by posting in my blog so here i am...its 6.30pm on my comp clock, 23 mins to breaking of my fast for the day. well, the past few days of fasting have been alright for me, in the sense that i can take it. i still remember in the past, there were instances of me[altho not frequent] breaking my fast because i simply couldnt take it anymore...those were times when i had to endure my rigorous training as well as bear with the hunger and thirst at the same time. of cos i wun use it as an excuse to break my fast...btw, this is seen as a last resort lar, when u really cant withstand it, but you will haf to so called pay back when the fasting month is over. so in that sense, there is that trade-off...if u withstand it during the fasting mth, you wont haf to go thru the hassle of remembering how many days u'f missed and paying it back in another mth before the next fasting season starts. furthermore, paying back in another mth will mean that you fast when others are not fasting. others can eat but you haf to bear with it...in that sense, trying to get the full mth by fasting now is best cos u are fasting with others...you are not the only one who have to endure the hunger and thirst. so its much easier...haha anyway, with regard to the heading for today, i haf 2 more term papers to finish...decided to conclude my euro essay last night after trying to refine it for a few times...was demoralised when i saw the lecturer with my first draft..restructured it and got more encouraging comments with the second draft...tried to refine it again and again at home, so i hope with this final draft, i can get a reasonably good grade. with regard to social work term paper, i haven really "put pen to paper" yet altho i've done some research on it....i realise social work is really policies, policies and more policies...all the tax reliefs and CPF contributions thingy which i had to learn for my job at IRAS suddenly come into the picture again. recently, i've been gg to several govt websites just to make notes of the policies, old and new. if only i could keep the notes which IRAS let us use when we were still on the job. then no need to go online everytime just to check on the latest policies. and btw, the stand-in tutor for prof ngiam told us that knowing whats being debated in the latest parliament session would help us alot in this module. that is so gg to work against me, as i always change to other channels when ch5 shows excerpts of the debates....haha anyway gtg now...5 mins more to breaking my fast...
