hey bloggie! i decided to post sth since i'm wide awake at this early hr [0011h]...i haf EL lect at 8am later in the morning but i cant get myself to sleep yet....just dun feel sleepy...anyway, just an account of what happened today...
me went for my first MS tutorial...luckily it wasnt that boring lar...as in got ppl speak up so it was not that bad...what i cant stand is the way my lecturer speaks English...not that there's a standard way of speaking English lar, but the way he speaks English is soooooooooo Malay-ish...pls bear in mind tat there isnt really anything wrong with his grammar or whatever...its just the way he speaks it...like as if he's speaking Malay with English words, if u get what i mean. dunno whether it's right to say he has this accent, aiya just so Malay can oredi ar...for me, when i communicate with my family at home, I'll use like total Malay except with my first bro...n when i get out of home, to sch or when out with frens, i dunno but there's this automatic shift from Malay to English...n i can say that i dun really haf the Malay accent, however u term it...as in i dun follow the Malay intonation when saying English words aloud...sorta digressing here, but i realise i dun even know appropriate swear words in Malay...ok thats an oxymoron...since when can swear words be appropriate? lol...i know like several swear words in English but I cant seem to say Malay swear words...maybe cos i've nv really said it out loud before, altho i do hear those words being used frequently when i go out...a lot of ppl use vulgar words which i've never heard of in my life, n the prob is i dun even know where they originate from...k i'm not expressing a wish to learn vulgar words in Malay...in fact I'm happy not to be using those words....haha...hmm how did i come to talk abt vulgarities? brain is not working well again...
anyway, back to what i did just now....me, ying ling and joan visited jia dai at PGP...trina, i really haf to admit her view is much nicer than urs...more sunlight coming in...and yea like what other frens of jia dai commented, her room is damn homely...as in u feel like its really a room at home...with all her personal stuff and home appliances, not excluding cooking utensils...haha...with posters and family photos abundant, it really felt like i was in jia dai's room at her house...anyway, i miss the 3302 gals clique....now that i'f visited jia dai's room, must go visit joan's room too...and must find time to fly over to NTU to visit zihui and shuhui...nv see zihui for so long oredi!!! yea so guys, if u reading this, just wanna say I miss u guys and love ye all loads!
