woohoo....i dunno where to start...i'm very very happy tonite...well i didnt expect so many things to happen at one time...anyway, today was the last day of the Orientation Week...we had the O Nite, whereby the councillors as well as freshies would come up with peformances of their own to impress the judges...i haf to say that it all started as quite a boring day...waking up late cos o nite rehearsal only started at 3 plus...went to Trina's room at PGP to look around while she packed sum of her stuff to bring home n headed for AS7, thinking that i'd be late...but as usual, Arts ppl are famous for being late, so me the ultra-late person in my usual meetings with frens, was the first Aracia councillor to arrive...then slowly, like really slowly, the other councillors came...then we started rehearsing our skit...At this point of time, i wasnt even sure whether we could do it well during O Night cos it was kinda rushed, as in we didnt haf time before today to actually rehearse the whole thing with music...Before today, i only knew i was supposed to be one of the Arts planeteers who would form Euwen who's supposed to be Captain Arts that would defeat the Bhangra man [acted by Neville]...Btw, for the benefit of the ppl who were not ard during O week and O night itself, the Aracia councillors did a twisted version of the Godfather...I shall not go into details abt that cos it's best understood when it's performed...well, everything was running smoothly until the Bhangra man jumped up and down too vigorously when he danced....and u know, the bottom just went for the ground...it really got the audience laughing but what was commendable was that the very same person who traumatised me a few days ago carried on with the skit with much spontaneity...he could haf stopped there but he went on, and Aracia went on with the skit...and of cos we ended off by making the BEST COUNCILLORS' PERFORMANCE our own...woohoo~ n thats not the end, cos Aracia won BEST CHEER too!!! altho she may not be reading my blog, must really thank Nana the cheer dictionary...always coming with cool cheers. Also wanna thank the other house IC Jeremy for his superb directing of the skit...the councillors in general did a very good job too! oh btw, i almost forgot to say that KESOLO WON BEST OG from Aracia!!!woohoo, thats like extremely incredible considering we get new freshies everyday...so i'd like to thank whoever who came down for O week, no matter which day u came, it mattered in sum way or another...last but not least, I must say that i really love my fellow councillors from Kesolo....Matthew, for teaching me how to try and take things easy; Zhen Yang, for being the water guy; Grace and Kai ting, for always updating me on scandals; Ruth, for being the cute clueless girl u are; Jinwei, for making my MRT trips back home less boring....and of cos, the man who won it for us, Neville...I'll forgive and forget whatever nonsense from u that i had to tolerate during the past few days on the account that u won it for us...haha...but really, its a job well done by u yea OGL...having said all the usual thanks, i really hope my fellow councillors enjoyed the O week as much as I did, with the O nite as the highlight...oh yea, also must thank the Cruor ppl from Arts Camp who came down to lend their support...thanks everyone!!!
