k i dun care abt the grammar in that sentence anymore, altho i'll be taking the English Language module in no time. cos i feel very stupid...i caused myself to haf a sore throat. i caused myself harm. i gave a big shock to myself. and i cant believe how stupid i can be. anyway, lets just get into the main story. yesterday, at abt 11pm, i was getting ready to sleep. thats when i said to my mum that we should spray the freshener since we had not been doing that for quite a long...btw, i'm a fan of fresheners, as long as the smell is not too strong...ok this particular freshener that we were gg to use was actually sorta a 2-in-1 thing. it's not scented but it clears the room of any particular smell, n the good thing is that it also acts as an insect repellant, which is exactly what we need cos the rainy weather nowadays heighten the chances of mosquitoes breeding. k so i offered to spray the thing in my room....went to get the spray and on the way to the room, i paused a moment to read the "DIRECTIONS FOR USE"...it says: "put the spray can 5-8 inches away from any particular body part or any particular area". n also the repellant was not to be used as a space spray, meaning u cant just randomly spray into the air hoping the mosquitoes wun come, cos this spray is poisonous, altho its unscented and supposed to be a freshener and all....i tell u, the bottle looks damn frenly, as in it didnt look like whatever's that was coming out of it was gg to be detrimental to the user. i dunno wat was gg thru my mind at tat point in time but i started spraying at the edges and corners of the cupboard and stuff...i dint spray into the air so that was still alright...but suddenly, i felt tat i couldnt breathe...my eyes were painful and my nose was blocked...i ran straight to the toilet, n washed my face...without knowing it, i had breathed in dunno how many gulps of the spray...my eyes felt like i've been crying for the past few days. my nose felt like it was stuffed with the whole can of spray...my mouth felt very bitter...eeewww...i dun ever want to experience that feeling again...i spent more than 5 mins trying to clear my throat...i gurgled alot of water and spit it out, hoping to neutralise the bitter taste. but to my horror, when the bitter taste went away, the sore throat came. argh! i really cant believe i read the instructions. i was like only 8 cm away from the can, and since i was spraying downwards, the spray particles would definitely find themselves up into the air to spread....argh! the spray went straigt into my face and attacked the associated features on my face...to think i'm entering the university...i cant even get simple things like this right...man...
