lesson to be learned: do not surf the net right after an exam. not after a sociology exam. to be absolutely specific about it, not after a sociology of deviance exam.

Reason: cos after trying to attain the internalised cultural goals of society by trying all you can to write well and get that coveted grade, you realise you can never attain all of it[cultural goals]. then you'll experience anomie. [story cut short cos further indulgence in the theory will lead me to really getting into the state of anomie. that's what they call "self-fulfilling prophecy"] When you experience anomie, you just go haywire lar, to put it simply. That's the state I am in now, thanks to the sociology paper.

Consequence: you don't know what you are surfing and u don't know what you are reading. I typed TKGS Badminton 2005 in Yahoo! in the hope of finding out how the B division final match went yesterday. the Pilot Pen website haven't updated yet, so no hope of finding the result from there. Then, one of the search results led me to chuan yang's blog. He had written a post on his AHS juniors losing to TKGS. I tagged. and guess what? that post was from one yr ago! February 2004!
