i feel so lazy. dunno why. maybe cos i've been sick these few days. even as i celebrated my birthday yesterday, i didnt feel too excited or anything becos i lacked the energy to be excited. i woke up with a nasal voice and could only help my mum slice the mushrooms. my frens were coming over for lunch. of cos i was happy they were coming lar, but i wasnt particularly happy with my blocked nose. the flu sorta influenced the degree of my happiness on my birthday. ok shit i'm talking nonsense. told trina it must be the medicine. i took the medicine abt 1 hr ago. its one of those which has the label "causes drowsiness". so be prepared for more nonsense along the way...
anywayz, turning 20 doesnt feel like anything out of the ordinary, except that the digit "1" in the tenths place is replaced by the digit "2". i just feel that i'm getting old. ok, i do feel old every time my bday comes becos i'm a january baby, and that means i celebrate my birthday way before most people in my batch. nevertheless, i enjoyed myself yesterday and i hope my 3302 girl frens had a ball of a time too! i appreciate all the sms-es and gifts i've received for my birthday...including that bottle of yoko yoko eunice! haha i didnt expect u to buy it for me u know, becos afterall i've nv really used this kinda stuff before...my teammates do use it lar but aiya, i just let the muscleache go off naturally.
oh btw, out of several presents i've received, 3 are bags. in different sizes and for different occasions summore. its like so cool...haha one converse sports bag...the cylindrical type, not the big duffle bag type....one billabong sling bag. and one apsara handbag[courtesy of zihui, shu hui, jia dai and eunice]haha its v floral...dunno when i shd use it...also wanna thank ying ling for giving me exactly what i mentioned on MSN, that being The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho...me also received a really well-drawn and cool birthday card from the 3302 girls. kudos to jia dai for the superb drawing and coloring. and i know its not that easy to cut cardboard, so yea jia dai, u r superb! always will be my beloved rendezvous partner...haha like real...must share the love with everyone man...
and must not forget my badminton "kakis"...trina, angel and huiyu, with an addition of huimin to the grp for our most recent session....the sports bag was from them and haha i really think our acting skills cannot make it man. or perhaps its our keeping-it-a-secret-from-the-birthday-person skills. i think when it was trina's birthday, me and angel were laughing in the changing room cubicle as we tried to add on stuff to the present [cos we dint know when trina would come out of her cubicle]. this time, haha huiyu gave it away, in a different way tho. but anyway, nvm lar...i'm just happy i've got gd frens like them. oh yea, and i realise that me and my badminton kakis like to give birthday pressies in the SRC toilet. haha such an unglam venue...

the causeway view, taken from the small lane behind the blocks near my house. we couldnt get the sea view plus the clock tower from the top of the playground beside my block, so this is the best i can show u of the surrounding scenery. haha this is not much of a scenery, its there to show i really live damn near the immigration checkpoint.
