quite a few people have been writing about expectations. expectations have to do with what we think or believe will happen in the future. or more so, we
want that sth to happen. but when it doesnt go smoothly, or doesnt even come true, we become sad, or perhaps even depressed. oh well, for me, even though i haf expectations of whats gg to or must happen in my life, i prefer to look back...to "relive" the memories in my mind. the future, being something that has not happened yet, is perhaps not as important as coming to grips with the past. moreover, how can we ever move forward before we come to terms with what has happened in our lives? maybe both are equally important, but in this world, there is hardly any 2 things that can be balanced equally. balancing studies and CCAs, balancing secular studies and religious studies, balancing english and malay...it's pretty difficult to keep everything in balance, isnt it? of cos like we always say, or like most ppl would believe, these things are all important. but ensuring that we have all these does not make us well-balaced persons. for example, just going for religious classes alongside school does not make me a whole person. like my MS lecturer said last time, just having that balance on the surface is not enuff if we dun understand the essence and purpose of both. and internalising what i learn without acting upon it is not beneficial for myself too. oh well, dunno whether anybody agrees with me on this...but yea, this is how i feel abt it. so, as i always do, i'm gg to talk abt the past. dunno whether i can squeeze everything into this post within the space of 15mins or so, cos i'm gg out with my mum. but if u tell me to write when i come back, i'll probably forget the exact feelings and words that i wanna convey right now.
ok, i shall not post yet. lets just hope i'll remember everything that i wanna post when i return home later. till then...
