Quotable quotes I see

"Losing one's own confidence causes a person to fall into confusion, which is hell...To maintain one's confidence, the most important thing is stamina."

    SECOND WEEK OF SCH
haha yes my 2nd week has ended with that make-up french lect last nite. today's[thurs] my free day, and tmr's hari raya haji. so yea, effectively my week has ended. a short week but still as hectic as the last. cos i learned more things n that means i'll forget more things too. in the first french lect, i learned how to say my name, profession and country of origin[shit this last one makes me sound like some kinda food or worse, canned food]. yesterday, in 2nd lect for french, i learned feminine and masculine forms of several words, pronunciations of vowels and consonants and a bit of vocab. the pronunciation exercise was difficult man....french, in my opinion, is practically abt talking nasally. whatever that means...but yea they haf alot of nasal sounds lar. haha its like u'll end up sounding whiny. its easier when the sounds actually make words....cos if u ask me to pronounce just the consonant or the vowel, i think i'll really end up sounding whiny, or even bitchy, if u wanna be harsh on me. haha...another lect worth mentioning is the deviance lect. i laughed until i teared when the lecturer talked about criminal profiling. what made it even funnier was that he talked about his personal encounter with the authorities. its so damn funny that the whole LT lit up with laughter. but after the laughter and all, i realise its just super evil of us and whichever institution to categorise criminals or potential criminals according to body type, facial features, race and blah. well, i think almost all of us are guilty of this actually. whether we are conscious of it or not, we are constantly applying this profiling concept...hmm...

ok updates on me instead. i have ulcers in my mouth. and a few small red spots on my fingers. pain and itchy. sick.
