just my luck...i had posted sth only for the internet browser to cock up and hang up on me....so whatever i typed didnt get published...anyway, i'll try to make this short...cos its 2.04am already...just finished my social work tutorial...pls dun start thinking i'm having tutorials at 2am in the morning lol...was trying to find egs for the titmus framework n i realise that singapore's policies seem to be based on Model B: The Industrial Achievement-Performance Model....with all the incentives and rewards for having more children and blah...k better get out of the social work context. i'd just like to give a summary of wat happened the past few weeks:
haf been busy lately...no time to blog, as is apparent when ppl visit my blog...finished reading "Night" by Elie Wiesel in 3 hrs! was quite an achievement for me, considering i always doze off while reading storybooks...lol...anyway, i didnt read that book for fun ok...thats for my EU1101E assignment...the book is not as scary as implied in the EU forum in IVLE...well, in fact i found it very predictable...i thought anyone with sum background of the Holocaust would find the book predictable...but apparently, sum ppl said they couldnt sleep for a night cos they haf those images of babies being burnt in their mind...sigh...issit that scary? maybe i've been exposed to more disturbing texts than this...read Gothic man! talk of decadence is way more "scary" and disturbing than burning babies...k i'm not saying burning babies is alright...just that i found it absolutely predictable in the context of Nazi Germany...
on to other stuff...been praying hard for my juniors in TJC...had wanted to sms them but thought that having the phone beep while they are revising is not very gd...dun wanna disturb them...so i'm just praying for them from a distance...hopefully they ace their prelim exams as well as the A levels...missing them a lot...occasionally i'll recall those times when we played games together, laugh at jokes together and even the major incident that caused my team of 02/03 to be disbanded for abt 1 mth...and when i think of all these, i just cant help but realise how fast time flies...we'r already in the mid-term of semester 1...wow...with all the projects and assignments to complete, makes the whole process faster, cos i cant even stop for a breather sumtimes...that explains why i didnt post anything for abt 2 weeks...
but i do make it a point to relax...cos I've joined Archery recre club...shooting is fun, but my basics still haywire so i'm still trying to get the hang of it...nevertheless, its an avenue for me to relax....keep all the readings away for a moment to relax my mind and body...
yea thats abt it...looking forward to the social service visits!
